Today, Bravado bras are worn and loved by mums worldwide, including celebrity mums like Sarah Jessica Parker, Stella McCartney, Jennifer Garner and Angelina Jolie.
With stunning style and a full bra inside, The Essential Nursing Bra Tank was designed to make mums feel fabulous inside and out! We have limited sizes available which is the only reason this item is on sale! Colours available include Chocolate Brown, Ruby Red, and Teal Green and we also have a few sizes left in the discontinued Bamboo fabric range as recommended in Feb 2008 American Baby Magazine. . Bamboo fabric offers natural antibacterial properties, excellent moisture wicking and fast evaporation capabilities, great breath ability and is an environmentally friendly material. Additionally it is extremely soft, and feels luxurious against the skin.
It is stylish to wear with great accessories when going out, yet so comfy it's a treat to wear when just hanging around inside. It can even be worn during pregnancy because the fabric of the garment and the bra inside comfortably stretch, while retaining their shape after washing, making it an ideal maternity and postpartum garment as well. The bravado team have now introduced a matching shrug top for this vest/cami.

Sizing
The Essential Nursing Bra Tank is sized according to your bra size. That's why you get this amazing shape and support, while allowing for flexibility for changing breast size. The outer fabric of the garment was designed accordingly, to be comfortably fitted without being clingy and to give you a flattering and fabulous silhouette.
Determining your size
To Size The Essential Nursing Bra Tank:
- Take your measurement after 26 weeks and beyond
- Keep the same band size
- Increase one cup size
For example, if you're a 36B/C after 26 weeks and beyond, once you are ready to nurse, your size will be 36D/E.
Simple 2-Step Measurement Guide:
Step 1: Find your band size. Measure your chest wearing your regular, unpadded bra. Place the measuring tape around your chest and under your arms. Hold the tape measure snugly, but not too tightly, and level to the floor. Stand up straight and breathe normally. If you can, get someone to help you. This measurement is your band size. Since band sizes come only in even numbers, round up an odd measurement. For example, if the band measurement is 39 inches, then round up to 40 inches.
Step 2: Find your cup size.
Still wearing your bra, bring the tape measure around the fullest part of your breasts, right over the nipples. Make sure the tape measure is level around your body and don't pull it too tight. Subtract this measurement from the band size number. The difference, in inches, between the band size number and the bust measurement will determine your cup size, as shown in our chart below. So if the band measurement is 36 and bust measurement is 38, the difference is 2 inches, which means your cup size is B and your bra size is 36B.

About Bravado Designs
It all began with a great idea...
Our first prototype bra was worn for 48 hours straight and boasted leopard print spandex! Finally...a nursing bra that didn't look like something your grandmother wore!
Alas, a great product does not a company make. We realized that early success would depend on getting the word out to midwives, childbirth educators and lactation consultants that there was a new nursing bra to rave about - comfortable, stylish and affordable. Their response was overwhelmingly positive.
And voila, Bravado! Designs was born as a home-based business in 1992, the brainchild of two young mothers. Our first bra was launched in 3 sizes and 2 colours. In a short time, we outgrew the house and now we offer our Original Nursing Bra in 12 sizes and 6 colours, a Supreme Nursing Bra for fuller-breasted women, a Lifestyle Microfiber Nursing Bra to take you from work to home to play, fabulous underwear and a revolutionary breast pad!
